PLEASE NOTE Due to pregnancy, Sun and the SH Music workshop are on a brass servicing hiatus until late April. We can still do some repairs, however. Woodwind services can still be booked in, but we now have very limited spaces before Sun goes on maternity leave last week of Jan. Please do still get in touch to discuss your instrument, we might be able to help with your repair or advice on other solutions.

THE WORKSHOP

SH Music are situated in Reading, Berkshire, in walking distance from the town centre. Assessments are done by appointment only. We can also do repairs by courier, simply enquire below for further information.

To allow for quick assessment please include the make and model, age and any playing faults you may be experiencing in your initial enquiry.

Parking

On street parking is available just around the corner from the workshop. If you prefer to omit the walk, a parking pass can be provided for a £1 charge to the final bill. We will give you further details on booking the appointment.

Public transport

The workshop is around 20 minutes walk from Reading Central Rail Station, we can offer alternative walking routes on request. There’s a bus stops within 5 minutes walk.

Accessibility

The workshop is situated on the first floor and there is a rather narrow set of stairs to access it. If you prefer to not take the stairs, simply let us know in advance and we’ll be happy find alternative solutions for your visit.
